How I work
Trust is the whole job. I tell the seller what's happening as it happens, and I say what I actually think the property will sell for, not what you'd like to hear.
I don't believe the old story that an agent “has a buyer”. Every serious buyer today looks at the big portals. Skipping the advertising to save a few hundred dollars usually costs far more than it saves, because the buyer who'd pay the most never sees the property at all.
The sale isn't the end of it. I'm still in touch with a good many of the people whose homes I've sold, and that's the part of this work I care about.
